Candle Table Numbers
We found these great
candle table numbers made
using tissue paper transfers
from Simply Turquoise,
and we just had to share!
What you will need: Embossing
Gun, Wax Paper, Tissue Paper,
Candle (must match exactly to
tissue paper & vice versa,
Permanent Pen/ Pencil/
Coloured Pen, Scissors
Step 1: Smooth out the tissue
paper and cut a piece to the
height of the candle and draw
(or trace from a print out off
the computer) a number using
your pen/ pencil. Tip: Pencil
gives a softer look, the look
pictured left was created using
a permanent marker.
Step 2: Trim any excess tissue
paper away.

Step 3: Take a large piece of wax
paper (large enough to wrap
around the candle). With the tissue
paper on the candle, wrap the wax
paper (waxy side against the
number) and hold it tightly holding
the ends of the wax paper around
the back of the candle.
Step 4: Using the embossing gun,
heat the entire area of the number.
The heat will slightly melt the candle
and the wax from the wax paper,
transferring your tissue paper
number onto the candle!
Step 5: Let it cool before removing.
Tip: If the tissue paper lifts off with
the wax paper, it didn't melt enough,
try again holding the embossing gun
over for longer.
