What was the best part of the day and why?
I have so many heart-warming memories when I think back to one of the best days of
my life. Walking back down the aisle once it was announced we were husband and wife.
I couldn’t have been happier. Seeing our guests’ faces when our surprise wedding
Double Decker bus arrived was magic. The whole day was perfect. We had a slight hitch
with my dress that you could see one of the lace layers at the bottom and that my hoop
would not stay pinned together, but nothing that safety pin and a bit of Sellotape
couldn’t fix!
Did you encounter any problems during the planning stages?
At the beginning of January within 24 hours of each other 3 things happened: the shop
where I ordered my dress went into liquidation and I didn’t know if they would fulfil my
Order, I had to find a new cake maker for our UK Reception and my engagement ring
Broke. Luckily within the week everything was sorted.
Is there anything you learned that you think is an important tip for future Wedding
Couples?
Definitely - arrange the day how you want it, it is after all your Wedding Day!
