Born in the Netherlands, Elise started her career in sales, but was drawn more and more to PR &
Communication, which have been her main occupation since 1991. She completed her studies in the
evenings from 1991 until 1998, while working as Marketing & PR Manager in the daytime.
In 2001 she moved to Greece and got involved in the Shipping Industry, first as Marketing & PR
Manager for Unimarine Services Ltd. and later as Marketing & Sales Manager for TWA S.A. and Trans-It
ApS.
Since 2004 she has been the MTI Network Partner for Greece and Cyprus specializing in Crisis
Communications, International Media Management and Reputation Protection for the Shipping and
Offshore Industry. Elise is also the Press Officer for WISTA Cyprus and a member of the Cyprus Shipping
Chamber.
