Mr. Loizos Tofas is a graduate of the Department of Rural and Surveying Engineering of Aristotle
University of Thessaloniki, and holds a Master in Science Degree in Geoinformatics. He has great
experience  concerning  the field of Geographical Information Systems, the production of digital
cartographic database, the procedures of Digitization and the conduction or support of relevant studies.
After he graduated, Mr Tofas, worked on numerous G.I.S. management and application studies and on
several Projects sponsored by the European Union.
Since 2002  led a project team in the creation of the digital cartographic database of Cyprus, a database
that meant to be the corner-stone of the provision of high quality G.I.S. services and solutions. Some of
the G.I.S projects that he worked as a project manager were the 3D G.I.S - Highways Management
System for the Dept of Public Works / Min. of Transportation, the Cyprus Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
project that was proclaimed by Noble Energy Inc., and H]\
