It is an honor to lead the work that you began in 2007 , bringing City Year to Los Angeles during a critical time . Your contributions have created a safety net for students throughout Los Angeles , students like me who have endless opportunity if provided with the right resources .
I am humbled that you believed in me to carry on this legacy that was built by incredible women before me . Executive Directors that worked side by side with you to refine a vision that you both set forth . Words are not enough to thank you for all the service that you have given to City Year Los Angeles , a service greater than yourselves .
