Discover this cyclist ’ s heaven , with smooth , quiet tarmac , breath-taking views and dry bright days . You will stay in a recently refurbished traditional ‘ cortijo ’, in rural Spain , offering comfortable , elegant and rustic accommodation comprising of twin bedrooms , shared bathrooms , living areas , sun terraces , pool ( seasonal ) and laundry room .
Brezo Cycling take care of everything for you so all you need to do each day is keep those pedals moving . Our holidays start at £ 395 and include ; Airport transfer , bed , breakfast and locally sourced , home cooked evening meal , daily ride support , secure bike store with wash down area and basic repair workshop .
Accommodation is based in ‘ Cortijo Grande ’, which literally translated means ' large farmhouse ', and is located in a small hamlet 1 km from the traditional Spanish town of Lubrin in a valley called La Alcarria . Within Lubrin , you will find all the essentials , butchers , bakers , ( not sure about candle stick makers ), pharmacy and general stores .
There are also various bars where you can sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a ‘ café con leche ’ or cold ‘ cerveza ’. They all also serve Tapas , the menus for which are changed daily . The area around and about Lubrin is also great for walking with interesting flora and fauna .
The coast is 40 minutes away and excursions to explore more of the area can be arranged .
