W
ith much of the county covered by
special landscape designations, a rich
heritage of water, wool, art and food plus
the combination of restful rurality and
vibrant towns, it is easy to see why Gloucestershire is a
destination county, and cycling is an excellent way to
ex lore what it has to offer.
This richly rural county stretches from Cam to Chipping
Campden, from Lechlade to Lydney, with four rural
districts surrounding the two major urban pockets of
Gloucester and Cheltenham. Cycle routes and bridle
