Tips On How To Survive in PSY459 Cyber Psychology

1. Pace yourself: There are several posts due in the Cyberpsychology discussion page at the end of each week. Set aside different days each week for a certain kind of post. For example: Sundays you can read a chapter in one of the two required textbooks and make a chapter review. You can also take pictures throughout the week and upload them every Sunday. This way you have the rest of that week to collect data from your uploaded photos, then you could report your Photo Post on Fridays or Saturdays. By spreading out your work load, you won't feel too overwhelmed.

2. When making a new team during team rotations, try to e-mail those people with similar availabilities to yours, a few at a time. Mass e-mails to everyone in the course could create confusion, by “popcorn” selecting people you can narrow down who’s available for a team a few people at a time.

3. Make sure to set up your group meetings early within the week. Trying to find a time good for four college students to meet is tough. You don’t want to be scrambling for a time on Friday night, or have to meet at midnight.
