Remote work combined with carefully considered on-campus work
STAY HOME if you meet any one of these criteria :
You are able to continue to do your work from home without issues . You have any of the COVID-19 symptoms or are generally not feeling well . You have had direct contact with any individual who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days . You have had contact with an individual who had direct contact with any individual who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days . You are at higher risk for severe illness ,
according to the CDC , and you prefer to stay home to protect yourself . Someone in your immediate household is at higher risk for severe illness ,
according to the CDC , and you prefer to stay home to protect them . You are quarantined pursuant to Federal , State , or local government order , or the advice of a health care provider . You need to care for an individual subject to quarantine . You need to care for a child whose school or child care provider is closed or unavailable for reasons related to COVID-19 . You live in area with a stay-at-home order .
Work at your regular location with supervisor permission
If you meet any one of these criteria and you do not meet any of the above “ keep staying home ” criteria :
You have work that cannot be accomplished from home , or is much easier to do from campus . Because of your home environment , you are not able to work remotely effectively . ( Examples : you don ’ t have reliable internet ; you do not have a distraction-free workspace ) You are needed to teach classes or support events and activities taking place on campus . On-campus activities will gradually resume over time . Please consult with your supervisor on specifics .
