People are considered fully vaccinated : 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series , such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines , or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine , such as Johnson & Johnson ’ s Janssen vaccine If you don ’ t meet these requirements , you are NOT fully vaccinated . Keep taking all precautions
until you are fully vaccinated .
IF I ' VE BEEN FULLY VACCINATED , CAN I HANG OUT WITH OTHERS ?
Yes , you can gather indoors with fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask or
staying 6 feet apart . You can gather indoors with unvaccinated people of any age from one other household ( for example , visiting with relatives who all live together ) without masks or staying 6 feet apart , unless any of those people or anyone they live with has an increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19
DO I STILL NEED TO QUARANTINE IF I ' VE BEEN EXPOSED TO SOMEONE WITH COVID-19 ?
Fully vaccinated persons who have been exposed to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 are not required to quarantine
if they meet all of the following criteria †: Are fully vaccinated ( i . e ., ≥2 weeks following receipt of the second dose in a 2- dose series , or ≥2 weeks following receipt of one dose of a single-dose vaccine ) Are within 3 months following receipt of the last dose in the series Have remained asymptomatic since the current COVID-19 exposure
