Construction activity is being delivered by McPhillips( Wellington) Ltd, which was appointed by Wyre Forest District Council during 2025. The contractor is coordinating the phased programme while maintaining public access to key areas of the park throughout the works.
Recent project updates have confirmed continued progress on the new pavilion structure, ornamental pool and associated landscaping. Installation of a new ornamental bridge and completion of refurbishment works to the existing toilet blocks are also advancing as the project moves through its main construction phase.
The restoration programme also incorporates educational and community engagement activity. Local schools have participated in planting initiatives linked to the project, with students contributing directly to landscape improvements within the park.
Once complete, the Brinton Park project will deliver upgraded recreational and community facilities while restoring key heritage elements that have defined the park for generations. The scheme represents one of the largest recent investments in public realm and heritage infrastructure within Kidderminster and forms part of wider regeneration activity taking place across Wyre Forest.
