NEILCOTT CONSTRUCTION- REIGATE FIRE STATION
Construction has commenced on a new carbon-neutral fire station at Reigate setting a new benchmark in facility design for fire and rescue services.
The replacement of the existing fire station in Reigate marks a significant infrastructure investment in support of Surrey Fire & Rescue Service’ s modernisation strategy.
The facility, situated on Wray Park Road in Reigate, will occupy approximately 950 m ² across a purpose-built structure designed to support operational performance, workforce welfare and sustainability objectives.
The scope of works includes full demolition of the existing mid-20th-century fire station, followed by the construction of a two-storey modern facility. The new building will incorporate three appliance bays, support space for the South East Coast Ambulance Service, enhanced crew facilities( including rest rooms, gym, changing and locker rooms) and a modern kitchen and dining area.
