STRETFORD MALL REDEVELOPMENT- PHASE 1
Bruntwood and Trafford Council have launched Phase 1 of the Stretford Mall redevelopment, transforming the 1960s shopping precinct into an open-air town centre with a new high street and public square.
Phase 1 of the Stretford Mall redevelopment is now well underway, marking a significant milestone in the £ 50 million transformation of this central Manchester suburb.
The project, led jointly by Bruntwood and Trafford Council, saw main contractor Caddick Construction begin on-site in mid-2023 under the design oversight of
Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, Studio Mutt and Exterior Architecture, with a clear mission: to reverse decades of decline and re-establish a vibrant public realm.
