FARINGTON PARK WAREHOUSE FIT-OUT

The Farington Park warehouse fit-out is a 600,000 sq ft industrial scheme in central Lancashire that will provide a boost to the local economy .
The development features a mix of industrial , commercial and logistics space ranging from box-box distribution units , mid-box production and warehousing and smaller office units for local businesses – totalling 612,500 sq ft .
Development Manager , Caddick Developments , lodged the application with South Ribble Council to build the scheme in Farington back in 2020 .
Within the facility , there is a ground floor reception area of 1,000 square feet , an office space spanning 20,000 square feet across the first and second floors , and a 50,000 square foot transport office .
The first floor of the transport office is dedicated to fitting out , while the ground floor is designated for storage .
The external components of the project included a gatehouse and a concrete service yard that extends 60 meters in depth . The service yard contains 62 truck parking spaces and provides access to 50 dock-level loading doors and 4 ground-level loading doors .
Additionally , provisions were made for 506 electric vehicle charging spaces , 16 disabled parking spaces , 26 motorcycle spaces , and storage for 60 bicycles .
The unit has been designed and constructed to comply with the latest BREEAM legislation , aiming to achieve an ‘ Excellent ’ rating .
The proposed development , known as Farington Park , is conveniently situated near the M65 . Its strategic location positions it in close proximity to Junction 29 of the M6
