Construction work nears completion on the new £ 7million build at Phoenix Integrated Primary School , Cookstown .
Cookstown is on the brink of a significant educational milestone as the construction of the Phoenix Integrated Primary School reaches its final stages .
The scheme was first announced as a project to receive funding from the Fresh Start Programme supported by the UK Government in March 2016 .
The investment from the Fresh Start Programme will provide a modern , seven class primary school and nursery unit accommodating over 200 pupils .
The brief for the new school was to create an accessible and intimate building that engages with the local community , the children and staff to provide an exciting school environment .
