TOWNELEY HALL - HISTORIC PROPERTY RESTORATION
Providing contracting excellence in the restoration and conservation of historic buildings , from listed buildings to world heritage sites , Historic Property Restoration Ltd . were the natural choice to work on the restoration and repair of Towneley Hall .
Towneley Hall is set in over 400 acres of historic parkland and small formal gardens with woodland walks , trails and a large children ’ s play area .
The Hall contains fine period rooms hung with original 19th-century oil and water colour paintings including works by Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema , Waterhouse and
Johan Zoffany . It ’ s also home to the Whalley Abbey Vestments and a vast collection of Lancashire-made oak furniture as well as a Egyptology collection and Decorative Arts room .
The hall ’ s major restorations got underway in October 2022 and is due for completion in early 2025 . The building is still partially
