Telford Homes iconic perfume factory site will be home to three residential towers of 12 , 16 and 25 storeys and consisting of 376 homes .
The Perfume Factory scheme will see the former Elizabeth Arden factory site transformed into a new residential led mixed-use redevelopment , delivering 376 new homes ( 36 per cent affordable ), 1,403 sq . m . of commercial floorspace , rooftop amenity space and public realm improvements .
Of these 376 homes , 76 will be studios , 170 one bedroom , 98 two bedroom and 32 three bedroom , with Housing association Notting Hill Genesis to manage the 138 homes that will be offered as affordable housing .
The development , designed by Darling Associates , sits within the heart of North Acton , which is currently undergoing rapid transformation as part of one of London ’ s largest and most important regeneration areas , with significant residential development alongside major transport improvements .
It will deliver a diverse range of benefits for the local area and its communities , providing new homes and supporting local placemaking aspirations .
The scheme utilises a leading-edge strategic energy approach incorporating passive design and energy-efficiency measures , an on-site communal heating network via Air Source Heat Pumps and Photovoltaic panels resulting in an anticipated CO2 improvement of 46.06 per cent beyond Part L 2013 .
