The taller 14 storey tower will provide new shared ownership housing and provides a 395 sqm ground floor commercial space facing onto York Road .
A communal courtyard is located at the rear of the blocks whilst all of the south facing accommodation will have views over the new park .
Better connections between the River Thames , Clapham Junction and housing that surrounds the park will create a safer , attractive and more inclusive neighbourhood .
It is envisaged that the regeneration will deliver an attractive new neighbourhood , where people are proud to work , live and visit .
The three blocks have been designed in keeping with the developing character of York Road and will be the first of five towers to be delivered within the masterplan along this corridor , stepping up in height to the south to 32 storeys .
The two lower buildings reflect the mansion blocks that will be delivered around the park edge , red brick facades with precast banding details and steel metal balustrades to balconies that reflect the historic mansion block buildings that form the character of nearby Battersea .
There will also be major improvements to the physical environment , new commercial and community facilities , with the creation of jobs , education and training opportunities , during and after the redevelopment .
