ECO BOS - WEST CARCLAZE

The development of West Carclaze Garden Village near St Austell by Eco-Bos will create a new community that is in complete harmony with the beautiful countryside that surrounds it .
ECO-BOS is a partnership between two global leaders - Orascom ( ODH ) and Imerys . ODH are specialists in sustainable town creation across Europe and the Middle East . West Carclaze Garden Village is near St Austell — just a couple of miles from the stunning Cornish coast and is one of the first new Garden Villages in a generation , enhanced with modern technologies , thinking and ideas , and developed with existing communities and local culture in mind .
The village is woven into 500 acres of beautiful countryside , with five lakes , miles of trails and walks and a 350 acre country park to explore .
Supported by Cornwall Council and Homes England , the creation of the Garden Village by Eco-Bos Development Ltd will create a vibrant new community of 1,500 homes .
The village concept means that whatever you need is never more than a few minutes away — whether that ’ s a quick shop to keep the household running smoothly , or the fresh air and open green spaces of the surrounding countryside .
At the heart of West Carclaze is a vibrant centre , with bars , cafés , restaurants and retail . A Village Hub and Experience Centre will be home to lively public spaces , sensitively designed with accessibility in mind , and promoting activities and events the the whole community can enjoy .
As well as places to eat , there will be meeting rooms , a village shop selling local produce , play park , village square and more — a fantastic focus for community life .
There will be the opportunity to walk the kids to school , grab lunch on the way in to work to enjoy by one of the lakes and visit the shops on the way back home . Leisure , retail and lifestyle areas are designed to flow into the residential areas , making simple , connected journeys throughout the day easy .
