The first , Malvern Place is a collection of just seven 3- , 4- and 5-bedroom homes that is located in the Hertford Road area of Stevenage .

The scheme will see the regeneration of the neighbourhood centre in Bragbury End . The development will deliver a total of 236 new homes , including 118 being retained for council rent .
The scheme will also see the construction of a new independent living scheme , a high-quality retail offering and new community facilities . The first phase of the scheme is anticipated to be delivered in early 2023 .
The site previously housed two existing independent living schemes which were no longer suitable for long term use as well as poor quality retail units and community centre .
Sustainability is a key priority for Stevenage Borough Council and aim to exceed the minimum standards required by Building Regulations .
The new development looks to bring new residential homes and community facilities around a structured central green space .
