Lelley Fields Crematorium The construction of Lelley Fields Crematorium has begun near Preston , creating a new facility in the heart of Holderness .
This is an exciting project involving the development of the first East Riding of Yorkshire Council-operated crematorium to offer people a fitting and sensitive place to commemorate their loved ones . The innovative design has been led by the council ’ s building design team in infrastructure and facilities .
Kier Construction started work on site in winter 2021 and are due to complete works early 2023 .
