MORGAN SINDALL - KENILWORTH SCHOOL AND SIXTH FORM RELOCATION PROJECT
Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is recognised as a ‘ World Class School ’ and Centre of Excellence for Inclusion . It is committed to delivering the best possible secondary education for the current and future young people of Kenilworth . The new facilities will enable the school to increase capacity providing places for 2,200 pupils .
Main Construction Contractor , Morgan Sindall Group , were awarded the contract by Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust ( KMAT ) for the new Kenilworth School & Sixth Form in 2021 .
Since then , significant progress has been made on the project that will see the relocation of Kenilworth School at Leyes Lane and Sixth Form at Rouncil Lane .
The new three-story campus will have capacity for 2,200 pupils , an increase of 440 , and will combine the main school and the sixth form onto the one site . It is envisaged this will offer improved teaching , learning and sports facilities .
Kenilworth School & Sixth Form has been planning this project since 2014 , with the support of the Executive Headteacher , Governors and Trustees .
The project has been overseen by a Trustees ’ Site Relocation Committee , the Executive Head and a Project Manager appointed by the school . Staff and students have been
