Dudley ’ s Aluminium is proud to be playing an instrumental role in the regeneration of Cardiff City Centre through the Central Square development .
Providing a complete design , manufacture and installation service for curtain walling , windows , doors and facades , Dudley ’ s has installed over 36,250m ² of framework , glazing and doors at the development with a total value in excess of £ 20m .
Working with ISG as a key contractor , Dudley ’ s has contributed to the city ’ s new landmarks including the Interchange , BBC Cymru Wales ’ headquarters and Two Central Square – home to Cardiff University and legal firm Hugh James .
Dudley ’ s specialist and bespoke products have been installed throughout ISG ’ s builds to enhance safety , longevity and aesthetics .
The Interchange is a perfect example of seeing Dudley ’ s quality work in action . The dynamic and modern mixed use project which will house residential and office accommodation , as well as the city ’ s bus station , is set to open in 2023 .
Some of the valuable contributions to the Interchange that the fabricator has been able to provide included the construction and installation of 862 windows for the tower and over 5000m ² of curtain walling to the offices . In addition , high security bomb blast screenwork was also provided for the bus station bays .
