We aim to minimise the number of ASB cases that go to court by using non-legal remedies such as mediation.

87% of you said you would recommend your neighbourhood as a place to live, up from 82% last year.
We opened a total of 406 ASB cases last year, 80% (324) of these were closed without court action. 74 cases were issued to court and 54 resulted in eviction.
