Tanya Cawthorne has been working with childbearing families and educators globally since 2012 . She is a regular contributing author to many online and printed publications . She is an independent trainer for Lamaze International , a Fellow of the Academy of Certified Childbirth Educators and is currently serving as the President Elect of Lamaze International .
Tanya was excited to discover Plumtree Baby ’ s excellent resources and partenered with them to develop the Australian Edition of Preparing for Birth . Tanya is proud and excited to be an Australian distributor for Plumtree Baby .
Plumtree Baby founder and owner Julie Olson ’ s passion for childbirth education was sparked when she and her husband learned they were expecting their first child . With her science background , she set about learning evidencebased information to help her make the best decisions for her birth . In 2005 , Julie became a childbirth educator in order to help other women have a healthy pregnancy and a gentle , fulfilling birth experience .
After years of teaching , Julie created Plumtree Baby in 2011 ( along with her team ) to provide childbirth educators , doulas and medical professionals with an array of modern , comprehensive and flexible teaching tools and resources .
