One of my shop made heads, EVA
rubber, a medium density foam. The
head is made and painted then attached to the hook. The advantage
to this method is the hook eye is not
clogged with paint and or clear coat
and never was clogged. Most foam
poppers are not top coated, these
have a slightly flexible glossy top coat
to make them tuff and saves the paint
job. The other poppers are mostly
the same, except colors.
