Where are you from and where do you currently reside? I live in NW Florida in a small town called Baker. Lived there all of my life. How did you start fishing?
I started fishing at a very early age; as far back as I can remember. My Dad and Grandfather were a big influence when it came to the outdoors. My dad was a very good river fisherman and he taught me at an early age how to use a bait caster. My grandfather was also a great outdoorsman and I enjoyed many hours fishing and hunting with him.
What type of game fish do you target?
The area of Florida I live in has such a good variety of fishing it would be hard to pick a favorite but I would have to say I have spent the most time targeting Largemouth Bass. I do love Redfish and speckled trout also. There are many rivers and backwater bays pretty close so I have a wide variety of fish I can target. I have really enjoyed learning to catch the big flathead in the local rivers the past few years. Flathead would probably be my obsession at the moment.
What is the biggest game fish you ' ve caught? 53lb flathead catfish..
