What’ s your favorite childhood fishing memory? I still remember the first bass I ever caught to this day. My dad and I were out in his old canoe fishing this pond behind the fire department. I couldn ' t have been more than 5-6 years old, fishing with a Walmart pole, a fairly small trout hook and a worm. My dad was paddling along letting me troll my line behind the canoe when a small LMB hit my worm. I was so excited and screaming, there were people camping on the beach cheering me on. It was only maybe 1lb but I ' ll never forget that. That memory has stayed with me.
