Do you have a pro staff team for your lures? I do, although it be small! It consists of Ty Spade and Mike Dixon. Currently not accepting anyone else onto the team right now.
How has that help you- business wise? It ' s been great. Mike is new and hasn ' t gotten a chance to really work for us yet, but Ty has been awesome. He has done everything I have asked of him and speaks highly of our product. He is a believer in custom lures and stands behind us confidently.
You recently started custom painting baits Live on Facebook, how has that experience been for you? Painting live has only increased interest, and people really enjoy watching their lures come to life start to finish.
What’ s next for Dom in the future, where do you see yourself? It ' s been a crazy ride, each year bringing with it more customers, fans and support. I can only hope to continue to grow from here. I ' ve never been one to chase fame and fortune and I would like to remain humble in my mindset. However I enjoy what I do and I take an immense amount of pride in it. Maybe one day you ' ll see myself and my craft on the outdoor channel, but even if you don ' t I ' ll still be here in my own little bubble of the universe cranking out baits one after the other.
Tell me one thing about you that most people wouldn ' t know? I am actually terrified of water. Even though I was a lifeguard and have fished my whole life. Try and figure that one out.
What else do you do for fun? I am super into archery and shooting in general, I hunt, I love eating food if that ' s considered a fun thing to do. I love MMA and BJJ, mountain biking, closet video game nerd. Being outdoors in general is awesome, I race snowmobiles, horseback riding. I like living like there is no tomorrow, I am an adventurer at heart.
