Custom Bait Builder Features
Finally!! The 1st edition of Custom Baits Magazine has
life! I would like to thank all of our hard working contributors from around the globe! To the 4 custom bait
builders that are featured in this issue Dominique
Gaudreau, Donna Bork, Adam Belue, and finally Phillip
Taylor. Thank you for accepting my invitation to be part
of our premier issue.
This issue was put together with many ideas in mind.
One main focus are the custom baits. So if you’re wondering why the pictures are taking up 2 pages in a
spread, it’s because I feel it’s important that they grab
the attention of our followers. The other main focus are
the bait builders themselves. I am working at a better
process for the interviews. To make them be more in
depth on the types of lures they build and their processes. The magazine format isn’t where I want it to be. So I
am currently working on formats for all contributors to
follow, depending on the topics or type of content they
would like published. I personally have a few DIY projects that I will share in upcoming issues, and there are
many other bait builders that are currently working on
some as well.
My goal is to provide you with in-depth how-to and do-it-yourself articles from the
experts. Give Information on the latest lure building materials or tools for bait
builders. Feature the world’s greatest Custom Bait’s and Bait Builders from around
the globe. To capture the culture and lifestyle of what the custom bait building
movement is all about. It has grown tremendously from when I first started 8 years
ago. I know it will continue to grow. I hope that this magazine, like the many dedicated tackle forums out there on web, can help with that. We hope to improve your
digital magazine experience. The digital features on this issue wouldn’t be possible
without the help of our sponsors. So please thank them for their support as I have.
To all you supporters that wrote me e-mails with list of tackle companies to contact for sponsors. I please ask that you don’t contact them with nasty grams just
because you don’t see them in the pages of the magazine. I had a couple of suppli6
