Curro Castle eco kidz had their first sports day this year and the children each took part in a running race followed by a sprint.
After all the fun, everyone received a biscuit medal which was delicious.

An explosion of colour and
shouts of joy was just the be-
ginning of Curro Castle Mount
Richmore’s exhilarating colour
run. The little stars, all dressed
in white shirts and shorts, hap-
pily ran through obstacles and
colour stations. The teachers
loved showering the stars with
bright colours.

Sports day was an exciting and energetic day. The Castle stars ran, jumped and balanced with glee. Each class sported their
colour T-shirts with pride and joy. Castle parents thoroughly enjoyed the time spent out in the sun on the main field, watching
their little stars’ shine.

‘Tjokker’ athletics
Each year the children participate in ‘tjokker’ athletics. Group 2 to Grade R children participate in
this fun-filled day and parents are also invited to participate. The children and their parents dressed
according to their house colours. Medals were given to all the little stars who participated in this
event. It was a great day.
