THEOLOGY COURSES:
Retreat Policy: All students are required to attend their class retreats organized through their theology classes and the Campus Ministry Office. All teachers are notified in advance of the students participating in the retreat and they will make special arrangements for missed work. No notes from parents dismissing students from the retreat will be accepted.
102 | THEOLOGY I: THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST IN SCRIPTURE 0.5 CREDIT
This one-semester course is intended to give students general knowledge and appreciation of Sacred Scripture. Through the study of the Bible, students will encounter the Living Word of God, Jesus Christ. Students will learn about the Bible, authored by God through inspiration, and its value to people throughout the world. Reading the Bible, familiarization of the structure of the Bible with particular attention to the Gospels, will enable students to know and love Jesus Christ more personally.

103 | THEOLOGY I: WHO IS JESUS CHRIST? 0.5 CREDIT
This one-semester course is intended to introduce students to the mystery of Jesus Christ, the Living Word of God, and the Second person of the Blessed Trinity. Students will come to understand that Jesus Christ is the ultimate Revelation to us from God. In learning about who He is, students will learn who He calls on them to be.

202 | THEOLOGY II: THE MISSION OF JESUS CHRIST( THE PASCHAL MYSTERY) 0.5 CREDIT
This one-semester course is intended to help students understand all that God has done for us through His Son, Jesus Christ. In this course, the student will learn that for all eternity, God has planned for us to share eternal happiness with Him, which is accomplished through the redemption that Christ won for us. Students will learn that they share in this redemption only in and through Jesus Christ. Students will be introduced to what it means to be a disciple of Christ, and what the life as a disciple entails.

203 | THEOLOGY II: JESUS CHRIST’ S MISSION CONTINUES IN THE CHURCH 0.5 CREDIT
This one-semester course is a one semester course that follows The Mission of Jesus Christ. This course will help the student understand that in and through the Church they encounter the living Jesus Christ. The student will be introduced to the fact that the Church was founded by Christ through the Apostles and is sustained by Him through the Holy Spirit. The student will come to know that the Church is the living Body of Christ today. This Body has both divine and human elements. The students will learn not so much about events in the life of the Church, but about the sacred nature of the Church.
