The Introduction to Coding course will give students a primer into the world of Computer Science . The course is specifically designed for students with no prior programming experience and touches upon a variety of fundamental topics . Students will complete a variety of assignments and student directed projects . The projects will allow students to use their creativity and computational thinking skills to develop new programs and games . Open to Grades 10-12 .

249 | AP COMPUTER SCIENCE PRINCIPLES 1.0 CREDIT
Prerequisite : 80 % in Honors or Regular Algebra .
Code . org ’ s AP Computer Science Principles ( CSP ) curriculum is a full-year , rigorous , entry-level course that introduces high school students to the foundations of modern computing . The course covers a broad range of foundational topics such as programming , algorithms , the Internet , big data , digital privacy and security , and the societal impacts of computing . Grades 11-12 only .

AP Computer Science A is an introductory college-level computer science course . Students cultivate their understanding of coding through analyzing , writing , and testing code as they explore concepts like modularity , variables , and control structures .
