PHOTO GROUP
June 8 , 2022 , saw the very first meeting of the new AWCH Through the Lens photography group . We were so lucky to have a beautiful day to walk around Ottensen , a neighborhood full of historic buildings and cobblestone streets . Our group of 11 ladies slowly meandered our way through these gorgeous streets , taking in all the little details along the way . With a focus on capturing things or moments we would normally pass by , this enthusiastic group managed to find a wonderful mix of color , perspective , texture , and context in this very busy pocket of Hamburg . We ended our tour with coffee and cake at one of Ottensen ’ s amazing cafes and shared our photos and thoughts of the day . Thanks to all who came — you made it such a pleasure .
