You come to Florida to“ hide“ from the winter cold, to be with friends who share the same interests in Ballet, Broadway shows, Museums Tours and Operas, why not pick up the“ torch” and get a little more involved on a different level. WE NEED YOU!! You are in Florida for about 3 to 6 months, why not spend some time giving back to the organization you helped to create, Friends of the Cultural Arts!! JOIN NOW, and pick the events that you want to attend this coming season! Remember, out of 15 events last season more that half were sold out! Get your membership and reservations sent in soon! A million thanks to Joan Toll, who was in charge of tickets to“ Blame it on the Movies”, held on Saturday, August 14th at the Stage Door Theater. Keep watching our schedule, over the coming months, for more plays sponsored by City of Hope.
Our opening Board Meeting for the 2016-17 season will be held on Wednesday, September 7th at 10 a. m., at the Skolnick Center. Come join us and bring your new ideas.( Please note that we have changed the time and date of these meetings from Tuesday.)
Are you saving your new or nearly new items for our White Elephant Sale? We have reserved a few tables at the sale at the Skolnick Center on October 9th. We ask that you just find a place in your apartment to store the items until the day of the sale. More information will be sent out soon, but in the meantime, please save your donations so our sale will be a success. Thanks, in advance.
