The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held
December 6th.
The following week, we bundled up like 'Michelin
Tire Men' to brave the winds and played an “Arizona
Shuttle”. The winners with a low net score of 105
were Sue Haynes, Lorraine Marin, Chisa Kao, and
Millie Marquez. Congratulations go to Diana Freese,
chip-in birdie, Shirley McCollum, chip-in par and
Pauline Difilippo for 'Closest to the Pin'. Special
recognition to Chisa Kao for shooting low gross of
the day - 94.
The 9-Holers had fun and congratulation to Ronnie Richman for a birdie and Frannie Kessler for a
chip-in birdie. Our girls are phenomenal!!
The rains finally let up and we were able to play a
Low Net/Low Gross stroke play on the Palms for the
last week of the month. Low Gross was Sid Troost
with a 93, and second was Terry Garcia-Mendoza
with a 99. Low Net was won by Chisa Kao with a 68
and second Teresa Cherup with a 69, but only
through a scorecard playoff. Good playing ladies.
Notable mention for a chip-in par was Esin Guvenel.
Not to be undone, the 9-Holers played to a low
score of 42! Well done - Maxine Cunningham, Harriet Dennis and Judy Cohen.
