years, really, is a movement to locally source food ...
This law will help Floridians be healthier in [the] long
run.”
The bill drew questions from several members of
the Black Caucus, who wanted to know if Bradley's
bill would encourage people in
urban areas and other places
where fresh produce is scarce to
grow their own greens.
“As far as I’m concerned this
bill is aimed directly at urban
areas where there are food
deserts,” Bradley said.
