Jan. 4th - As a Matter of Black Exhibition
Opening Reception at 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Bailey
Contemporary Arts, 41 NE 1st Street.
MUCE presents its annual exhibition "As a Matter
of Black, a Seat at the Table." This show is a collec-
tive of three visual artists that explores the table as a
constant to discuss a seat at the table in the context
of family, food, policy and celebration of the Black life
experience. Three artists bring the concept to life
through visual painting, sculpture, and storytelling. A
table installation is included as part of the exhibit and
utilized as an interactive art piece during the opening
reception. Opening ceremony (Jan 4, 2019) includes
dinner reception from local Pompano chef, which
includes Q&A with visual artists and Chef to discuss
what a seat at the table looks like intergenerationally.
MUCE is an arts production company that installs
and curates pop up exhibitions to activate corporate
and community brands. Working in heritage neigh-
borhoods, MUCE also brings rich cultural program-
ming from hyper local spaces to the cultural explorer
through live painters, performers, festivals and
niched cultural experiences.

Join them for an evening of great music and
entertainment as Vista Motor Company presents
Music under the Stars every second Friday of the
month. Music kicks off at 7:00 p.m. at the Great
Lawn located at the intersection of Atlantic and Pom-
