One of our favorite German Christmas traditions is the Weihnachtsmarkt ! And what fun to use this tradition to meet up with friends before the holiday stress . Two of our fourteen Hamburger Helper groups combined forces and met up to visit not just one but two Weihnachtmärkte — the Weihnachtsbummel Eppendorf and the St . Markus in Hoheluft . Rum-spiked apple cider was a decided favorite to the more traditional Glühwein . And we learned very quickly that thermals were an essential to any Weihnachtsmarkt .
Our next outing will be sipping cocktails in some warm bar — indoors !
