The Department of Energy ( DOE ) is charged with advancing the national , economic , and energy security of the United States ; and ensuring the environmental cleanup of the national nuclear weapons complex . Rick Perry , the incoming Director , is infamous of forgetting its name when listing federal agencies to end .
Trump and Business
President-elect Donald J . Trump has many extensive and diverse business interests , including some abroad , and some of his interests involve foreign government entities .
Trump is not obligated to divest his foreign business interests , even if he comes smack up against the ill-defined boundary of propriety .
Still the Constitution does not always demand that we and our government act wisely . And that is the situation here .
