They have performed courageous deeds and amazing acts of generosity . Many have died for the person or the ideal that they loved . Artists , musicians and poets have created masterpieces in the name of love .
Love is also a source of comfort . Saint Francis of Assisi preaches about the importance of loving nature . The great poet Shakespeare reminds us that “ Love comforteth like sunshine after rain .” The Beatles sang that in life “ all you need is love .” An old proverb reminds us that love always finds a way .
Love is also the most powerful force against violence and injustice . It cries out to women and men everywhere with a message of peace and hope . Just
