U
nder the City's new contract with Waste Management, some changes will be coming to the single-family residences. Waste Management's
new garbage and recycling carts
will be rolled out mid-January
through the end of February
2016. The City has posted a
video on Youtube.com. Just type

Trash Pickup Rules
Pompano Beach residents will
receive a new garbage cart. Your
new cart will replace your old
cans or containers. Roll your cart
to the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection day and remove it the day
of collection. Cart handles must
face away from the street with lid
opening facing the street. Refer
to the cart guidelines on the back
page for more information. ALL
garbage, including vegetative
materials and yard trash such as
palm fronds, coconuts and grass
clippings must be placed inside
the cart with lids closed. Only
vegetative material and yard
trash that is too large to fit in
your cart should be set out for
bulk removal.
Please bag all garbage to keep
carts clean & odor-free.
Only City-provided carts will be
collected.

Resident-owned cans or containers WILL NOT be serviced.

Any materials left outside of the
cart or on top of the cart WILL
NOT be collected.

Recycling Pickup Rules
NEW! Recycling Carts - recycling will be collected one time
per week.
Residents will receive a new
recycling cart. Now you can recycle even more materials.

ALL recycling must be placed
in your new cart with lids closed
for collection. Acceptable recycling materials include: aluminum
and tin cans; glass bottles and
jars; plastic containers with the
number 1, 2 or 3 on the bottom;
magazines; phonebooks and
newspapers.

on top of the cart will be collected.
