In an effort to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and their four-legged family members, the City of Pompano Beach will begin charging for entry into the most popular Canine Corner Dog Park beginning in the summer of 2017. The Dog Park is located at 1101 North Federal Highway near the City’s Golf Course. A new entrance gate is being installed and access will only be granted via key fob. A variety of memberships will be available to fit any person’s need to include year- ly, 6 month, weekly and daily. In efforts to educate the public and kick off the memberships, the City of Pompano Beach Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department will be hosting a Bow Wow Launch Paw-ty taking place on Saturday, April 22nd from 9 am - 12 pm at the Canine Corner Dog Park. Residents and visitors will be able to apply for their 6 or yearly membership at the Paw-ty and receive 3 months free added on to their membership. If you can’t make the party, don’t worry, you will be able to register for the Dog Park at the Aquatics Center, located at 820 NE 18th Avenue. The Aquatics Center is open 7 days a week.
