Patients are unclear with regard to what services are covered by insurance and Medicare plans, what costs are classified as out of pocket, and what are the wait times for certain products and services. This can quickly turn to angry and unsatisfied customers. Combine this with provider concerns relating to lost revenue and customer/patient loss, and many pedorthic practices are reeling to adjust to the realities of the new healthcare marketplace.
