SEPTEMBER 2018
FROM REPEAT TO THREE-PEAT.
For the third year in a row, Lincoln boasts the lowest average bill of all Big Ten college towns.
Same story, different year: We’re the 2018 Big Ten
Electric Champions yet again!
2018 BIG TEN ELECTRIC POWER RANKINGS
We crunched the numbers and found that football
1
fans in Lincoln — just as they did in 2016 and
2
2017 — are paying less for electricity than all their
3
counterparts across the Big Ten.
Less than Buckeye fans in Columbus.
Less than Badger fans in Madison.
Less than Hawkeye fans in Iowa City.
Less than… well, you get the point.
Lincoln is the only Big Ten college town where you’ll
find a residential bill that averages less than $100
per month in 2018. Having the lowest bill in the
conference means more savings for every customer
and our entire community — over 12 months, the
Lincoln area spends $53 million less for electricity
because LES’ residential bill is 27 percent lower than
the Big Ten average.
When you save, we win. See why at LES.com/BigTen.
