Improve your home’s energy efficiency
Interested in a new heat pump or air conditioner?
Do you need to to add insulation to attics or walls
in your home? We can help.
Every year, with our Sustainable Energy Program we
offer incentives for energy-efficient installations
and upgrades.
You can lower the cost of energy-smart investments
in your home and help lower our community’s
demand for electricity.
What projects are eligible for incentives?
High-efficiency heat pumps and air conditioners.
Residential customers are eligible for incentive
payments when replacing existing cooling systems
or installing them in newly built homes. Customers
could receive up to $1,500 per system based on the
unit’s energy-efficiency rating.
Whole-house sealing and insulation. Existing homes
with no wall or minimal attic insulation (R-19 or less)
can qualify for up to $1,000 in incentives to upgrade
insulation levels to current code standards.
Residential heat pump water heaters. Customers
could receive $500 per qualifying residential heat
pump water heater that is 40 gallons or larger.
All projects require preauthorization. Please visit

and descriptions. Don’t delay! Funds are available
on a first-come, first-serve basis.

of the participating contractors.
2. Contact one or more of the SEP participating
contractors for bids and available incentives.
HARNESS THE SUN
With LES Virtual Net Metering, you can purchase
a “virtual”solar panel, representing the actual
energy output of a panel at our 5-megawatt
community solar facility, and receive bill credits
for years to come.
