Technology

Technology is changing and rapdily progressivly grown over so many years, and as of today is at it's peak. Technology is encourporated in every day lives, meaning it has a big place in football.

Simple equipment in football has changed over the years as well as technical benefits of the game due to technological advances, with new materials for kit and football boots, goal line technology, performance analysis and high definintion broadcasting.

Football kit worn today is advanced in terms of keeping a player cool, perfect fitting alowing for maximal comfort, air resistance, flexibility and even has a slight fasion statement to it. Before modernised the kits were made from heavy materials such as wool and cotton, but now made from light, quick drying materials, usually polyester, which is durable, and only absorbes 0.4% of its weight in water.

Football boots currently are evolving quicker than any other piece of playing equipment. Before modernised boots were usually made from heavy leather and were not great fitting for feet. However boots nowadays are made from very light synthetics and carbon fibre, which is also very light a durable. Also boots are perfectly shaped to fit the feet, and also provide ankle protection a comfort, to reduce the chance of sores and blisters, allowing for better player performance.

Footballs are without a doubt an important part of the game, and with the footballs, they are changing slightly every season, in order to benefit play. Before modernised the balls were very heavy and made of leather, now made of light weight plastic synthetics, the ball is tested to make sure it stays on the ground, but players are also able to make it do something out of the ordinary.

Cameras are found in great numbers at footballs games, with cameras used for bradcasting in high definition, found in the dug-out, bi-line cameras and cameras found at the top of the stadium. These cameras also benefit the game as they can record everything that happens on the pitch. If the refree misses an incident, then suitable action can be taken as the cameras will have the truth, alowing the players or fans to be clamped down upon if wokring againsts the rules. Also cameras are now utalised as 'goal line' tecnology, to determine whether the ball has crossed the line or not, when a close call haas to be made, as wrong decisions have been made in the past which have caused much controversy.
