Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) emerge from hormone-producing cells of body’s neuroendocrine system and nervous
system. NETs tend to release higher-than-normal amounts of hormones and impact negatively the important body

be benign or malignant in nature. Some examples of neuroendocrine tumors are carcinoid tumors, islet cell tumors,
