Feasibility and effectiveness of a wellness program in individuals living with atypical parkinsonism
University of British Columbia and University of California, San Diego
Co-funded in partnership with Parkinson Canada and modeled after UBC ' s extensive and successful Brain Wellness Program( 30 online and 12 in-person classes offered for people with neurological conditions, care partners and healthy agers; 2500 participants since 2020), this project will test the feasibility and efficacy of a pilot eight-week virtual wellness program for people with PSP, CBD or MSA, including chair yoga, vocal exercises and support group sessions.
