About Chittagong University Model United Nations Association
Chittagong University Model United Nations Association was formed in March 2014 and is promoting a distinguished platform of intellectual practices among the students of Chittagong University comprising the Southern Bangladesh , facilitating to learn the use of diplomacy and negotiation practically , affiliating the students with the corporate world , raising professionalism among the students , involving the students of Chittagong University directly with United Nations , growing the importance of national and international networking among the students .
CUMUNA is rising proudly with its aim and vision . With a view to emphasize MUN concept among the 22,000 students of our campus , team CUMUNA has been organizing ‘ MUN Literacy Sessions ’ since March 31st , 2014 . CUMUNA also arrange mock MUN sessions and workshops for the general members of CUMUNA in a regular basis . These sessions are open for all and anyone can join in the sessions . When it is time for a MUN conference , CUMUNA also arranges workshops for the delegation team . These mocks really help the participants boosting up their confidence and encourage them to be a better performer .
CUMUN 2015 ! It was not only a conference it was a dream that came true . CUMUNA was formed based on this dream and only after 9 months , CUMUN15 held in March 19-21 . Now CUMUNA is looking towards CUMUN 2016 with the theme “ Uphold Humanity : Save Refugees ”.

After creating a glorious era in CUMUN 2015 , Chittagong University Model United Nations Association is carrying its renewed legacy in Chittagong University Model United Nations 2016 , which is the most prestigious international youth conference of Southern Bangladesh , the biggest International Model United Nations in Chittagong is a simulation of United Nations conference which is practiced by students coming from all around the globe .
This year we have chosen the theme “ Uphold Humanity : Save Refugees ”. The lives of over 50 million people are at stake outside their home country that is in crisis with their destination , identity , basic human rights and other severe problems . These crisis are spreading everywhere and affecting all the nations day by day . CUMUN 2016 is welcoming more than 380 talented minds from all over the world to sit together and handle the situation with diplomatic skills and negotiation . This year with the hype of anticipation from the Model UN enthusiasts from all over the world CUMUN16 is holding 8-committees with highly-skilled and prominently experienced dais members . Committees are UNSC , ICC , SOCHUM , DISEC , WTO , UNHCR , UNHRC and UNEP . With an extended 4 DAYS conference , 2 mind blowing SOCIAL NIGHTS and One luscious GALA DINNER . We welcome you all and CUMUN 2016 is going to serve you the best possible MUN experience .
